Finally back at home

After being gone for 4 years it was so nice to finally come back home & bring our kids to visit their brother. The room was as described in the post. I appreciated the beach stuff, sun screen, & laundry pods left at the room for us to use. Love that check in was so convenient. I enjoyed not having to check in at the desk, especially since we get in until 10:30 PM. The room was nice & clean. We will definitely be back again!

The location is good, the place was clean & the ac was great to have but if you’re a light sleeper or in our case we stayed with our baby the traffic noise is loud. It definitely is one of the more affordable places on the island though so that’s a plus & garden island properties was great to communicate with.

Great Spot!

This place was centrally located on the island which makes a huge… difference! It never took overly long to get to any location no matter what direction we wanted to travel. I also loved that it was a short walk away from the ocean and that it had a pool and hot tub that you could use. You can hear traffic a little bit from inside the apartment but it wasn’t a problem even for the country girl that I am.

Good location to visit the island

2 week stay with my adult daughter, the unit was well appointed with 2 double beds and a split bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with a basic pantry. We did appreciate the AC and the cable tv. The beds were comfy but the pillows were a bit lumpy. Some basic beach items would have been appreciated, we ended up buying a chair and snorkel (which we left behind) as well as a couple of insulated bags. We have stayed I’m in Poipu and Princeville before and found that Kapa’a’s central location made visiting the island easy.

C’était très bruyant pour s’endormir on entend très fort les autos de la route et ve bruit nous réveillait le matin aussi . Les planchers sont recouverts de vieux tapis sales. Les lits sont trop petits, très petits pour deux personnes. La douche n’a pas de porte donc l’eau coule par terre . C’est bien situé , proche de plusieurs commerces et épiceries et central pour la visite de toute l’île .

It was a very short 2-3 minute walk to the local marketplace along with souvenir shops. The front desk was very helpful if you had any questions. Short drive or walk to the nearest beach access, or other shopping centers.

Clean, cozy and convenient

I have stayed in Kauai a number of times and I like the convenience of Plantation Hale. The condo was fantastic and the layout was perfect for 1 or 2 people. The condo was clean and the furniture was relatively new. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedroom was away from any noise in the hall. Previous reviews talked about highway noise. There was some but it wasn’t so much that it distributed my sleep. The air conditioning units were quiet and worked well. I enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings after big hikes on the island.

Loved it!

We absolutely loved the location! It was close to everything we needed and we really enjoyed the bike path just down the road. Great supply of cooking items and towels. The only draw back we encountered was prior to booking I contacted property management to ask if this property had beach chairs. I was told they did. When we arrived, they ended up being camp chairs. It still gave us somewhere to sit, so it wasn’t a big problem, just not what we were hoping for. Overall great property with an easy check in/out process, and easy to work with!

Great stay and location

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent location! Spacious with lots of kitchen utensils and cookware to choose from. Although it states mountain view, please note that you cannot see anything but the trees and flower bushes in front of your balcony which was a disappointment. Tons of towels. Our only complaint was that we had to purchase a $10 laundry card to find out that we had to load another $10 to the card to actually do laundry. There should not be a card to buy a plastic card. Other than that, we were very happy with our choice.

The location is just perfect.Our condo, Plantation Hale B13 is just beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. Plenty of bathroom towels, toiletries & swim towels. Extremely clean. Hugh bonus parking is included at no additional charge.The only disappointment is the balcony. As the bushes go all the way up to the roof, covering any view. You can only look straight up at the sky. We will most defiantly be staying here on our next trip to Kauai. The Coconut Marketplace next door is just a big bonus. With a grocery store with delicious meals. Really excellent fish sandwich. With really nice shops, several restaurants.

First of all, the 4/5 star rating misguided me. My stay was thoroughly disappointing. We stayed at B-13 Plantation Hale. Pros: ease of checkin, friendly staff at concierge desk. Cons: the property at B-13 was not managed by the front desk as it is independently owned. The unit built in 1931 is in need of lot of updates. We noticed bugs that seemed like mosquitoes upon checkin and thought it was something to find in a humid weather. But the next day, the gnats or something like that were all over the kitchen, I. Bathroom and in bedroom. I requested pest control - and it was done. But there were dead gnats on towels - I requested new towels. My email was never answered, till another repeat request a few days later. Horrible stay. Don’t stay here. Stay at a hotel or other condominiums.
