And for the adventurous, there are plenty of mountain biking trails to choose from. The pristine Lake Zell is a short distance away and is a perfect spot to enjoy sailing, swimming, and water sports. The Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Kapruner Tal Apartment.

For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.
