The holiday home in rustic-romantic log cabin style is located separately on the owner's 3000 square metre residential property in a quiet location on the edge of the village. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the undeveloped surroundings. The holiday home, which was modernised in 2015, is equipped with a living room (upholstered furniture, flat-screen TV, stereo system, dining table), a bedroom (2 single beds that can be put together), an open kitchenette (electric hob, fridge with freezer compartment, mini oven, various kitchen appliances), an open sleeping loft (access via ladder) with two sleeping mattresses and a bathroom with shower/WC. The house is electrically heated (shower/WC with underfloor heating) and has a furnished terrace, children's playground, storage space for bicycles and a car park. The total price includes bed linen, towels, final cleaning as well as water and energy consumption. Pets are allowed: A maximum of 1 pet is allowed in this property (up to 40 cm in height).



Kargow is a small community in the Müritz National Park, which is one of the most important habitats for rare animals and plants due to its huge forest complexes, many small lakes, meadows and moors. The Müritz National Park Information Centre is located in the neighbouring village of Federow (4 km), where visitors can experience the life of these rare birds of prey via a live camera in an osprey nest, etc. Of the many guided tours of the national park offered here to observe wild animals and birds, those to the crane resting places are particular highlights. Thousands of these "lucky birds" stop off here in spring and autumn.



Visitors can also explore the region themselves using the well-developed network of cycle and hiking trails and by combining bus, boat and bike with the National Park Ticket. Not far from Kargow are the sources of the Peene and Havel rivers. The tourist centre of the Mecklenburg Lake District with further restaurants and shopping facilities, the climatic health resort Waren (Müritz) is approx. 8 km away and can also be reached by bus.
