Judging by the excellent reviews, we chose this unique property for a holiday getaway. When we arrived, we quickly questioned why this place had such great reviews. It appeared very unkept on the outside with railing panels that had fallen off the upper deck as if it was the aftermath of a heavy storm. Old, unkept boats were at the dock, broken glass and trash about. Outside furniture was broken and unusable. Cobwebs all over the outside and some inside. Towels were musty smelling and old. The black shower curtain bled brown when taking a shower. To our surprise, there was boat traffic through out the day and night making it particularly noisy in the late evenings and early mornings. We ended up leaving two days early, forfeiting our full payment. We respectfully brought up our concerns to the host and we did not receive a response. Of all the VRBOs we’ve stayed in, this was by far the worst experience however it has become a quite a laughable experience.
