The location for the beach and local shops/bars is excellent, though the photographs on the listing are very outdated. There is a large hotel adjacent, which causes shade on the villa pool from mid afternoon. The noise from the hotel was not intrusive. ”We had the privilage of staying at this gorgeous little home. The ideal location to explore the gorgeous island of Zakynthos. We did not hire a car, the walk to town and the beach was fine for us. We booked excursions directly from the many vendours in town. A beautfully clean and perfectly equipped property, it suited us, the little pool was a godsend in the upper 30's heat. ”Great place to stay in Zakynthos. From the first moments we arrived Denise our host was welcoming and gave us advice on amenities and good restaurants to visit. The villa is located in the countryside so a car is needed unless you want to spend lots of money on taxis. However the location was perfect as a base and was only 15 mins from the main resorts Tsvilli, Alykes, Laganas etc. Supermarket a few mins away too. The villa was clean and exactly what we expected.
