”This place is an absolute dump. I don't think it would pass for a 2-star hotel in Europe or Asia. Don't book the ocean view room, the windows will rattle to a point where it's impossible to sleep with the slightest of waves. The prices are beyond ludicrous. Spent a few nights here, expecting this to be the dream Hawaiian getaway after trekking around the island - it was the worst hotel we stayed in.
We had to change rooms 3 times to get something remotely habitable... this at a $400/night...

”Sea village was beautiful. We had a great view from the patio and even though the apartment didn't have air-conditioning, it was comfortable. Only thing missing was a beach. ”

It is really close to Kailua-Kona center (but was quiet still which was great), so it was walkable and the trolley takes you to some beaches. ”

”We moved here unexpectedly after our original hotel lost power, and it turned out to be a huge upgrade. The Courtyard was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located — right in the heart of Kailua-Kona. We could walk to everything: the beach, shops, restaurants, and attractions were all just steps away. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed but well-kept. Even with the last-minute booking, our stay felt seamless and stress-free. I’d choose this hotel again without...
”We booked this hotel because we wanted to see Manta Rays, although views vary between evenings based on waves. Don’t count on anyway that you can book a table with Manta Ray views. We booked, but the table was not kept to us.
Otherwise the hotel is pretty average. Rooms are pretty simple and beds are small. Swimming pool is pretty nice, water slides good for small children. Service in the restaurant can be really slow when they have more customers.”
