”Great place to stay right in Keene Valley. Everything was great. Bed was comfortable. The blinds however needed fixed in our room. Part of them were broken off.”

”Beauty place to stay. No TV in room and found out when we got there the restaurant was only open Monday and Tuesday. Quaint and super comfy in an amazing setting.”

”This is a very sweet lodge with wonderful owners - Shelly and her husband - and a delicious restaurant. You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!”

”If was great for viewing the Ironman that my son competed in It was very clean, quiet, parking right in front of unit I stayed in Wish there was an ice machine Misunderstood thought there was dishes silverware etc and there was NO snacks”

”We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. The owners were very responsive, just make sure you connect to their wifi, since our phone service was off. Highly recommend if you are bringing a dog with you!”

”Property is beautifully designed. Looks like the lounge will be a nice place to relax once it is finished. Back patio was being utilized by guests enjoying themselves. Owners were kind and helpful, and accommodating with a request we made which was so appreciated! We will definitely return.”

”There is nothing positive about this facility and not sure how do they got so many positive feedbacks, happened to stay here with family and this is a very average ok property. Rooms were not super cleaned, it was just cleaned for the sake of accommodating guests , the internet was not working, coffe machines were not working, staff not available at office to go and make a complaint, all we can do is call the number that too from a location there no cell Phone range , have to say very average...

”Door was ajar when we first entered. Room was oddly located in a heavy traffic area which was loud throughout the evening. The room had a thick carpet which make the room feel dated. Bed mattress was squishy--not firm. And my wife could not wait to leave. The staff was friendly on check in and check out, but the price of the room ($350) I felt it was not a good value. Yes, hotel rooms in Lake Placid command a premium in the summer. But this was overpriced.”

”At the very first moment, the owner Al made us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was cosy and comfortable with all the necessary thing one would need. Breakfast was ok. Since we had been on the road for almost two weeks prior to our arrival, Al insisted we use his washing machine to wash our clothes! Had a good time spending one evening at the pool and around the campfire getting to know people. Would recommend this place to anyone that's ever going that way! Good...
