”Loved the room, and having the Keurig right there was a bonus. Did not love the loud women having a conversation in the hall at 9:30 P.M. (one of whom may have been an employee, from what I could tell). Quiet time hours might be a good idea. I'm guessing I'm not the only one trying to get to sleep for an early hike in the morning.”

”It was self check in, which was very convenient. Room has been updated and in very nice condition. Price was good and location was just outside of town of Lake Placid. Overall, a great place!”

”Staff was helpful and nice, but I had to wait about 10mins to check-in as no one was at the desk at 10pm. Room was big but felt old and not well maintained. We had holes in our blanket, an awkwardly placed toilet with a weak flush, a shower with slides doors that almost came off, and noise from the plastic fitter of the air conditioning that kept smacking in the night from wind. Overall, we didn’t find any dirt or grime, but the property felt extremely dated and fragile in spots.”

”The location was as good as it gets: you can see Main Street in Lake Placid. It’s a 2-5 minute walk. Also a 2-5 minute walk to the Mirror Lake trail (2.8 mile loop). The view from the room was gorgeous. The pool was 80 degrees and the hot tub 100. The pool had a 9.5ft depth on one end and was the biggest pool we’ve seen at a hotel. ”I found the sheets did not smell fresh, the windows were left open in the room. There was a lot of debris on the sheets when I pulled the covers back. The pool floor- I did not want to touch with my feet as there was a lot of grit on it. There were no towels in the pool area. This is my third time there and I don’t think I will be back.”

”This property feels more like a wedding and event venue than a motel or a place to spend a relaxing day. The view is absolutely stunning, and the owner (or staff member who assisted us) was very kind and welcoming. ”The room is as filthy, spots on the comforter, spa tub was gross we never even got in it. Came back to our room on the 1st day and our door to our room wouldn’t even lock like someone tried to open it while we were gone. This place is gross”
