”I will happily admit that I booked this not really knowing anything about the property but we needed somewhere to stay that was inexpensive. We were visiting the area to see family. ”The house meets with all expectations, clean and functioning. Layout with two bedrooms + bathroom upstairs, two bedrooms, two bathrooms downstairs. ”What a beautifully unique place to stay! We were in the Gamekeeper's bothy and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was clean and spacious and the wood stove kept us plenty warm! We never saw any red squirrels but I did see a beautiful jay that was so different from the blue jays we have in the US. I would stay here again in a minute!”

”We had a great stay. The cottage had everything we needed, plus the lovely view. Findochty is a very photogenic village, so I was out and about taking photos at all hours! On our arrival we were welcomed by dolphins frolicking in the sea in front of the cottage. ”This was a great place to stay for our group of twelve. There are plenty of bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a huge dining room, two family rooms, and many places to hang out together or get away for some privacy. The showers are all heat-on-demand, so you never have to wait for hot water. The kitchen is large and well stocked. We had some trouble with the washing machine, but the host was responsive and delivered a substitute washer the same day. We would definitely come back.”
