”Was a first time in Maui and in this hotel. Got an upgrade to a studio with a kitchen and a balcony. The room was awesome and super clean and comfortable! All the neccessary kitchen supplies to make breakfast, lunch ot whatever. Microwave, stove, oven, large fridge and freezer. The bed was excellent to sleep in. You can rent dvd's and playstation games at the lobby with no charge, nice thing to do in the evening. Also free of charge tennis outside. The hotel pool area is beautiful with one big...

”Loved this place we will definitely go there again and again. Go to Costco right off the plane the valet will bring your luggage and Costco items up make sure you tip them well. The grills are super clean and easy to use and well maintained. We didn't care for their breakfast so we just ate light in the room. Grab laundry detergent, food, condiments, bottled water and you will save so much.”

”Loved the pool layout and the gorgeous ocean view. Not noisy, very minimal music played at the pool which was nice! The snorkeling on site is better than Molokini crater. The only slight downside is that the beach is a bit small and there were limited restaurants on site but that is only a tiny negative. Loved this resort and would come back.”

”There is no way we should have been charged for a "rollaway bed" ($39 per night). The rollaway bed was only supposed to accommodate those under 70 lbs. I don't know many adults under 70 lbs. The property was listed as sleeping 8, it only slept 6 comfortably. Lots of extra charges made our stay less than affordable. Very disappointed with the amount of money we spent vs. what we got for that price.”

”An older property that seems to have aged gracefully. We asked for a quiet room and were given one at the end of the hallway, and I think this was a lifesaver. There’s no noise cancellation of any kind and had we been closer to the elevators, it would have been impossible for js (admittedly rough sleepers) to sleep. ”A very underwhelming experience. A property whose glory days are behind it. We got a message a few days in advance that the air conditioning will be out of order until June. Not a big deal, but it left a sour taste that the attendant in check-in told us "I just heard that the air conditioniong in your room is out of order". Later we found out that also the laundry room and the gym were out of order as they had experienced a fire of the electricity system. Lack of transperency is...

”This is the perfect place/location for those seeking a nice condo in Kaanapali. The complex is right next to the Whaler’s village and has good beach front with cabana, lounge and umbrella rentals available. The units are spacious with good kitchens. We’ve been to Maui many times and feel that this is the best option.”

”We had a studio w/ ocean view. Having full kitchen and washer+dryer worked out well for us, having two children with two adults. Kitchen has all full-size appliances, side by side fridge has icemaker. Room also has washer and dryer. Hotel has very nice and helpful staff, service works well. Resort fee ($ 29,00 +tax/ room/day) includes everything, Wi-fi, towels at the pool, parking (also vallet parking) and much more.”

”Went for our honeymoon and the Whaler didn’t disappoint. The room was clean and set up pretty well. The communication and follow up was the best I’ve experienced, we wanted to experience a bunch of local spots and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect. Very centralized to snorkeling, pool, or the ocean. A bunch of good food in walking distance and even some others for a short drive. Was able to whale watch from the room and a short walk to black rock we seen dolphins....
