”This place is quiet and serene. The house is big enough to house the three families we put in there. There are 4 bathrooms, only one without a shower. They are so well placed, that each family had their own. The house is full of activities to do, from young children to adults. The outside is beautiful too. There’s fish ponds, a shooting range, a fire pit, and benches throughout the property to sit and enjoy nature. We will definitely want to come back. The owners were friendly and accommodating....

”We had a great time staying here. VERY close to everything in town. The property is very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoor patio space, as well. We utilized the grill outside. Would definitely recommend this anyone wanting to visit the Silver Valley. ”

”We loved our stay... this beautifully updated cabin is exactly what we needed for 2 quiet nights away in the woods but not too far off the grid. This is our favorite type of place... not a sterile vacation rental, but a family's getaway home, clearly loved and lived in, but very clean and welcoming! Delightful and unique decor, a cozy mix of modern and eclectic, beautiful flowers and veggies growing amidst wildflowers and trees. It was lovely!”

”We had a wonderful stay at the Great Catsby! We had great communication with the host and the house was beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. We knew ahead of time that the upstairs might be a little warm, and it was, however once we got the fans going it cooled down and we slept very well! The house is situated within walking distance of everything in town and the trails we wanted to do. Great place to stay!”

”Very nice, cozy house! It was clean and the host, Jeff, checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. We really enjoyed the hot tub and back yard. We rode our ATVs on Moon Pass to Avery and to Dominion Peak on the Continental divide. The only negative was the visitor center. The hours were only from 10 to 1. Our research had said we could get paper trails maps there. However, not much was available for that and the people working weren't very knowledgeable about the trails ”

”First, I have to say that we ended up not staying in this home. This house had an unexpected, last minute plumbing problem. (Nothing serious and is taken care of now.) The host contacted us, explained the situation and asked if she could upgrade us to a neighboring property that she rents out. ”This is such a great location! Right up against the hill so you see trees everywhere. While we really wanted to use the front balcony it was such a spacious living area with great views. I really liked the mud mats and ‘mud room’ area where you could store helmets and gear between rides and hikes.”
