”It’s high quality accommodation in a beautiful garden in Diani. Rooms are very large, both bedroom and bathroom. Also a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. Very handy, walkable, to the amazing beach. Short Tuk-Tuk ride to the supermarket and restaurants. The pool is dreamy, water sparkling clean and warm. Breakfast is a real treat, the evening meal (if ordered) a bit of a disappointment. We will be back.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Pinewood Resort & Spa, which fitted our requirements perfectly in not being too large but offering everything that we were looking for - pool, gym, spa, beach, multiple restaurants. One of our party was a vegetarian and there could have been more choice for her. We had booked on an all inclusive package, which was convenient as none of us are large drinkers, but being limited to house wine and having to pay the full cost for cocktails, rather than a small surcharge,...

”Beautiful, elegant and comfy resort. The spa is definitely worth a visit.. Dining, outside bar and pools all added to a wonderful, relaxing experience. Not having access to the beach at the resort was a bit disappointing (wish it was clearly stated on Expedia) but shuttle to their sister resort (the little Gelato place made up for it;) with access to the beach was very convenient. Will be back for a longer stay.”

”This was a fantastic place to stay. The staff were lovely and the hotel facilities and good were top notch. The Tuk Tuk driver, Kodak, they recommended became a core part of our trip. Recommended.”

”Beautiful quite small hotel directly at the beach and wonderful, friendly staff. ”

”I have stayed at the Serena several times over the past 20 years. In fact, of the 80 countries I have visited the Serena in Mombasa is still my favorite place in the world. The staff, including front dest staff (namely, Althuman) and the wait staff are outstanding. Many are long-term staff who have obviously been well-trained in customer service. The Maisha Spa is always worth a visit. The property is beginning to show signs of aging so I hope there are plans to upgrade it, while not loosing its...

”My experience was over my expectations. Nice AC room with comfortable pillows, well functioning bathroom and a spacious balcony with a view. This was topped with friendly staff, reasonably nice breakfast and very cool fridge in the room so I had my coke zeros ice cold. Great stay in Mombasa located perfectly between city center, Nyali and airport.”

”Very beautiful”

”The hotel is really nice and conveniently at the beach. Please choose the half board, it is really worth it”
