”Room and general areas clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only complaint was room was a little cramped - one of the beds (two queens) was about 8 inches from the wall, making it difficult to get into that side of the bed.”

”The Antietam Overlook Inn is a wonderful B&B perfectly situated on a hilltop in the Maryland Piedmont, just minutes away from Antietam Nat'l Battlefiield, Sharpsburg MD and Shepherdstown WV. The wilderness setting is stunning -- I saw more wildlife in one hour drinking my morning coffee than I saw in an entire day in Shenandoah Nat'l Park. ”Oh. My. The WORST place I've ever stayed. All of this is true: 1. hair in the sink 2. balled up, filthy washcloths shoved into the AC unit 3. stains all over the walls 4. putrid cigarette smell 5. holes in the bathroom door 6. a live-in neighbor who banged on the wall and screamed the second I got in the room 7. a stinkbug infestation in the curtains and under the bedskirt 8. drunk live-in neighbors who chain-smoked I just left at 11:45pm and got another place. This place should be condemned.”

”I had a very pleasant day clarion inn—-it is within walking distance 9f River Riders, also known as Snow Riders in the winter it took me five minutes to walk there to their headquarters. They offer a good breakfast not elaborate but sufficient several choices you could make your own waffles, but I was disappointed that they’re beautiful pool is not functional because the heater needs to be fixed or replaced after a long day of hiking or kayaking.
