”First, the place is on beautiful grounds. There are monkeys and parrots and cuckoos in the trees and it is very lush and green. Inside is not so great. Water pressure was marginal for the shower- just a trickle. The bed was a plastic-encased hard mattress covered with a top sheet. The AC and the WiFi worked, but this was not worth the price at all. Plus, though it seems close to LUN on the map, it isn’t. 30 min taxi to get there. ”

”I stayed in the hotel for 10 days on business. It is a calm oasis outside the city centre, very well maintained, with clean rooms and public areas. The staff are helpful and pleasant. The restaurant prepared special meals off the menu for me. The best part is the surroundings - tranquil, clean, and quiet - a great place to stay for a longer stretch in Lusaka. The electricity and water went out occasionally, but the generator comes on almost immediately, so this was not a problem, plus the wifi...

”We love staying at the Neelkanth Sarovar—it is such a lovely hotel—in fact, I would argue it’s the very best in Lusaka. The deluxe rooms are so spacious and comfortable with a separate seating area and a kitchen, including a cooktop for preparing small meals. I also appreciate the washer with a semi-enclosed balcony for hanging our clothes to dry. This is my 4th or 5th time to stay here, and I’m sure I will stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar again the next time I’m in Lusaka. ”
