Nice hotel in a convenient location, ideal for a stopover when travelling to or from England. The Channel Tunnel and Dover are both easily and quickly accessible from here.
This was our second stay at the hotel. After the renovation, the rooms are even nicer than before, while the hotel has still retained its original charm. We felt very comfortable during our stay.

”Hotels.com reservation did not work. I had the reservation number - they would not accept it and did not contact hotels.com right away. I had to get a screenshot from reservation after 45 minutes of struggle with mobiles and wifis. And after this they deny that we had breakfast included. Because there is no evidence of that... They did not even say sorry. Kindness level was worse than any hotel I've ever been in Finland.”

”The family room was lovely and well equipped for 2 adults and 2 children. A couple of niggles in that the blind was broken in the bathroom and the rubbish bins were a bit on the small side.
Staff were really lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was delicious and we had 1 meal there which was great.
Lovely setting next to the river. Would highly recommend”

”Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom.
Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together).
Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away.”
