”This is a gorgeous historic property nearly 100 years old. With this in mind, my remarks are personal issues, not necessarily those of all travelers. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves. This is particularly in the hallways and public spaces, NOT IN THE ROOMS. The property is beautiful, refreshing and restful. The back courtyard particularly was inviting. The room was clean....

”Our two-night stay last night and the night before was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had in recent memory. The front desk receptionist who checked us in was extremely welcoming and friendly. Our quiet room was spacious and sparkling clean. So was the indoor pool, which we enjoyed immensely. Parking was free and plentiful, as was the breakfast each morning. I can’t say enough good things about this well-maintained and managed Hilton. My husband and I will most definitely be staying here...

”It was a quick trip and only needed a place to stay for 1 night and it did the trick. Front desk super friendly. We did not use the amenities but the pool looked nice. The room was clean. In order to get to the back of one of the buildings that our room was in you had to walk through this hallway which was very hot and didn’t look well maintained but that’s pretty much rhetorical only negative.”

”This place was at a convention location fir the activities I had planned; however, not ONCE they made an attempt to clean the room. I had booked a room with 2 queen beds and that was helpful as I switched beds during my stay. When I asked the front desk how often they clean the rooms they said every other day but they were very short handed and asked if I needed anything. I asked for towels and a working fridge as the one in the room wasn’t working and the food I place in there spoiled. She...

”The only negative I have to say was that the pool was freezing. I absolutely loved the staff. Breakfast. Parking convenience”

”The motel was okay for a short stay. The room was clean enough. The property could definitely use some updates, and the overall appearance wasn’t the greatest, but it served its purpose if you’re just looking for an affordable place to spend the night.”

”Pleasently surprised. This little cozy place was more then I expected. Staff was nice, view was great, room was clean. Convenient to everything, even the neighboring rooms were respectful. No late night shanagins. The coffee shop down stairs was a big plus. Great coffee, muffins, opens at 6am. Really had a great stay.”

”Pros: The issue with the air conditioning was addressed fairly quickly, and the on-site handyman did an excellent job. The proximity to Newburyport was also a major plus. Cons: While the room appeared tidy, it wasn’t as clean as expected. The property is located directly behind a very loud restaurant/bar, making it quite noisy, and the surrounding area wasn’t particularly appealing. Considering the price, it was disappointing overall. ”Our family was extremely disappointed with our stay. We picked this hotel specifically, due to the listing indicating that the hotel had a pool. This was extremely important for our stay considering my son is autistic and requires sensory relief. The listing is false advertisement. Tim, who worked at the front desk did not handle the situation properly, not only did he offer no compensation and/or token of apology, but laughed in our faces when we were visibly upset about the circumstances....

”Large, comfortable room and a wide variety of options at breakfast (omelets, sausages, pancakes, yoghurt, fruit, etc). The room has a nice shower with good water pressure, though it took me a while to understand how to turn it on. The main room was a bit dim since there was no ceiling lights, and I closed the curtains as my room was right across the parking lot.”
