There is a small hotel-size fridge and microwave, with basic utensils for travelers who plan to eat most meals elsewhere, or microwave meals. Do pay attention to the details of additional expenses. ”I saw no evidence of rodents other than sticky and traditional traps everywhere, including the kitchen countertops. That overshadowed the decent, but sparse furniture and decor. The furnishings are functional and comfortable- but it has an institutional feel, not homey at all. I had to call VRBO to get entry instructions because the host info wasn’t available on the app and when I called/emailed I got no response, that may have been a VRBO issue rather than host though. Overall it wasn’t my best...

”When looking at potential properties I always read the recent previous reviews on a curve. From now on this property has now changed that for me going forward. There was excellent communication from the property manager leading up to check-in. I glanced over the first red flag comment when the manager stated “The blinds aren’t broken, they’re just bent”. They were correct, they weren’t functionally broken, but every single mini blind had broken OR missing slats, they should’ve been trashed....

”We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully fully renovated 1800s carriage house. The property seamlessly blends historic charm with high-end modern luxury, and it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The amenities provided were fantastic and made our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the biggest highlights is the location—it is an easy 2-minute walk to shopping and groceries, making it incredibly convenient. We highly recommend this property and would absolutely stay here again!”

Parhaat hotelliarvostelut kohteessa Kensington

Washington Plaza Hotel

10/10 Loistava

"Clean and big room. Nice pool."

citizenM Washington DC Capitol

10/10 Loistava

"Clean and nice hotel very close to L’Enfant plaza metro (use entrance/exit B). Friendly service. Tiny room but worked well for us. Only minor complaint would be the water pressure in the shower was kinda lame…but like I said, minor. Enjoyed my stay and very much loved the pillows and comfy bed :)"

Motto by Hilton Washington DC Downtown

8/10 Hyvä

"Had a good 5-night stay here, everything worked. Although the room was snug, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom did the job (thought the night light was a great addition), and the location was superb (although a bit restless in the evenings). Only down side was the sound insulation which was alright, for a couple nights I could hear some machine humming away (fairly loudly) in the hallway, no clue what it was for, but was grateful when it finally stopped. All in all, great place with good connections and a comfortable stay in many ways."
