”We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. The restaurant's range of food choices...

”Eclipse hotel is situated in a very nice spot in Jogja and it is close to some nice local and international restaurants. The area in general is nice and within walking distance to Kraton and Malioboro St. Hotel staff was most helpful with everything we needed. Breakfast was good, good quality and plenty of choice. The room was spacious, had the all what we could need. You can hear the prayers but that did not disturb us. The pool was nice! This hotel was very good value for money!”
