Good location close to the entrance to the reserve and 15 mins walk from the reserve ticket office and pick-up point for the reserve trips. Rooms were clean and comfortable, not many amenities provided (low pricing so understood), WiFi was decent in the room we stayed. Overall felt at home.”

”It's basic accommodation, but the manager Rafael went out of his way to make us welcome and inform us of transport and tour options. I can't rate his help highly enough. It was so good we went back.”

”The property manager was so unprofessional. Although I had a reservation for a day, they didn’t have any room available for my stay. I was completely stranded at midnight and was forced to leave the premises against my will. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Terrible experience. ”

”It is a room in an unkempt old house, with no security at night. No breakfast included. Expedia showed three rooms, 2 AC rooms and one non AC. We booked AC room making full payment online. At the time of check out the caretaker asked us to pay extra money for the room, saying it is a special room. We felt it is too much for that kind of facility.”

”Staff were friendly, the WiFi was good, the power shower was nice (when there was hot water) and, best of all, the only bar in town is just across the street. But the room needed a good clean, there was no bottled water or toilet paper and Silent Valley is far from silent. Bring earplugs.”
