”The breakfast is great. The bed, couch and lounge chair in the room are another story. Completely uncomfortable! Also, why does LS fear towel/ clothing hooks?? Only one in the closet but nowhere else, and those hooks SUCK. Def disappointing for many reasons. ”

” Staff (Peggy) was very friendly and accommodating. Family and I used to come fairly often 25-30 years ago. Nice to see they have the same themed rooms. As always, being right on the ocean front, dealing with sand and TLC for the property is a constant job. I spent four nights there and really enjoyed myself. There was a time a number of years ago when they no longer allowed children. Not sure that is still the case, but would be worthwhile to check. ”

”This is a no frills property. Clean- Freshly painted walls and new flooring. No closet or chest of drawers for the clothes. Instead, just a steel frame to hang items. Nothing on the walls. Pathways to walk on outside were were very uneven and elevated. We did not feel safe walking up the stairs. Location was perfect. Everything close by like shopping, restaurants, casino.”

”The office closes early so if you arrive after 5:00pm you can’t get ice and need to phone for any emergency That is my only negative. ”

”We were extremely happy with our stay at The Ashley Inn. Our room was perfect. Not one complaint from us. We were very satisfied with the breakfast. Good amount of seating for a somewhat small room. Good selections for adults and kids. On our third day there, I watched an employee by the name of Trish, work non-stop (until I interrupted her work by talking to her. She was so very nice) keeping the breakfast room clean and stocked. The people at the front desk always greeted us going in...

”Parking was safe and easy. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was hot. Close to everything the beach, the grocery store Mexican restaurant next-door.!”

”It’s a great place to stay. We stayed in a very cozy cabin with kids and they had a blast with s’mores and board games! Definitely plan to go back 😊. Only thing we missed was the food as we went Mon-Wed and the restaurant is only open Thu-Sun. But there are plenty of places to eat nearby so this is not a problem . ”

”Cleanliness was questionable, very outdated. Parts of the building were falling down. The room smelled like a lot of chemical cleaners and a horrible pee like smell underneath it all. Luckily I had a balcony room so I kept the door slightly open all night. ”

”Hotel is very clean and staff are very gracious and helpful. We stayed in blue room and temperature management in room was a little tricky with fluctuations in temperature outside. Shower is open and very close to tub so with placement of head made for a sadly awkward shower in a beautiful space. No door to shower also made it quite cold as the bathroom is so large it didn't steam up very quickly. While the bathroom is beautiful, it was not a great shower. ”This hotel is located very close to the outlet mall for shopping. Also, the D beach park and beach access is very close. The hotel was quiet and comfortable.”
