Quiet and Pleasant

5 star for sure. Secure backyard for pups , pool, hot tub, updated, everything works. We stay at a lot of VRBO places in the Texas Hill Country, in fact, we are living in one while we build a new house north of Fredericksburg, and needed a getaway wknd for our anniversary - so we chose this place. Soooooo glad we did. We will return for more getaways!

Beautiful Home and Amazing Yard

My family stayed here while in town for a wedding. The location was so convenient and the house is decorated so adorably! The back yard is so beautiful and well-kept! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Tons of little touches and well stocked kitchen. We will return!!

Perfect Getaway

From the booking to checkout, this house and host are TOP notch! The house is adorable and exactly as described...maybe even better. Absolutely love that my 11 year old golden retriever was allowed to swim in the pool. He doesn't swim long but he loves it! The hot tub was perfect temperature upon arrival, as was the house. This host communicates with you quickly if you have any questions, even stupid ones, lol. Best VRBO we have stayed at so far!

Charming oasis in downtown Kerrville.

I am from Colorado and needed a place to stay very last minute as my sister suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. The property host, Kim, was amazing to work and very kind and helpful. She was available by text message or by phone any time I needed her. She was always responsive, accommodating, and thoughtful. She offered to bring my family and I dinner one evening in light of the events. I needed to extend my stay by a night. I messaged Kim and she took care of it immediately. The home is absolutely beautiful and charming. I fell in love with the decor! Very clean and spacious. The property is well-maintained and is stocked with everything you need (cooking, sleeping, showering, doing laundry, games, riding bikes etc). We also went in an evening bike ride with the bikes there at the property. We swam and enjoyed the hot tub. Also worth mentioning is the outdoor shower near the hot tub and before entering the master bathroom-fully equipped with hot water! There is a separate “ carriage” house that serves as an office and small library. I actually found an amazing book that I started reading while I was there. The location is right downtown and very close to grocery/liquor stores, sit down and fast food restaurants, and much more. I would 100% stay here in the future and highly recommend it to all.

What a Gem

It’s not often you find a fabulous house in the city that also has a great outdoor space with a pool AND is dog friendly. If that’s your vibe, you’ll love this little gem! The decor is simply adorable, the house very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. And the backyard…even in 100+ degrees…fabulous! It’s totally worth it!

We loved our stay here. my husband and I were looking for a nice home with a pool. well this place went well above my expectations. the kitchen was stocked with whatever you might need. the bed super comfty!! the backyard is like your own little oasis. they have a privacy fence and a pool that was so fun in this texas heat. Kim the owner was absolutely amazing, if we needed anything she answered my texts right away! we didnt have any problems at all. The AC worked great in this texas heat. We will definitely be coming back

The house was perfect for what we needed. The only thing I was disappointed with was the fireplace. It was full of ash and soot, which gave the house a smoky smell throughout. Given the nightly rate, this was surprising. Otherwise, it had all the amenities we needed and the process was easy.

Very clean. Fully stocked with all essentials and lots of extras including spices, condiments, and more. Everything in excellent condition. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, beautiful landscaping, lovely pool. A/C worked well during this super hot spell. Grateful to be able to bring our big dogs - even pickup bags, bowls, and a bed were available! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Best stay ever!

I travel over 100 days per year and typically stay in high end resorts and luxury hotels. On occasion, VRBO has better options depending on where we are going. In this case, not only was our choice in a VRBO the best possible choice we could make, it was one of the best experiences we have had! Kimberly is top 3 best hosts I've ever worked with. She cares so much about your experience, your comfort, fun and making everything as easy as possible. She is top notch and will not hesitate to recommend her! The home is flawless. It is absolutely everything the photos depict and more. It is gorgeous, spotless, has every amenity you need and the back yard is like a resort. It's such an easy walk to town and yet it's peaceful and you are in your own little oasis. The best are so comfortable, everything works perfectly, the design is stunning and the pool is the icing on the cake. This property has EVERYTHING you may need. Pool and hot tub area were immaculate. And lawn and landscaping are well manicured. We were very impressed with the luxurious setting and attention that was paid to the tiniest details. Quiet neighborhood but still close to downtown and pharmacy and grocery store. I will return to Kerville just to experience Garrett Home

Though I usually love most homes I stay at, very few set themselves significantly apart from the rest. Garrett Home does exactly that! . Kim’s home was exquisitely appointed with meticulously thought out details; impossible to express from photos alone. From the entry tile, to the welcoming living and dining rooms, excellent designed kitchen with a door to the screened porch inviting you to a perfectly balanced oasis where landscaping, pool, fire pit, grilling area, jacuzzi, and lighting keep you wondering if you should stay inside or out! I’m not kidding! Master bedroom spacious and peaceful was bathed in color throughout its curtains. The master bathroom with his and hers sinks and excellently tiled shower also invite your to the backyard with a door that opens to a deck with outside shower and stepping down to jacuzzi and peaceful fire pit inviting reflection. Communication with our host Kim surpassed any expectations. I cannot express how generous our host was. Kitchen had Krups coffee maker, filtered water, tea kettle. Bathrooms were furnished with the finest toiletries. The second bedroom has an adorable vintage claw foot bathtub in array of colorful decor. Do not hesitate when looking for a place to rest while visiting Kerville. Although cycling or triathlon events occur year round, the Garrett home is a place to come to just to be still and rest.
