Relaxing stay on the river
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sunrise Suite. This oasis within Kerrville truly is close to everything you may want for stores while feeling like you are out in nature. During our stay we were the only ones on the property which made it nice a secluded. We enjoyed watching the deer, ducks, squirrels and turtles on the property as well as walking across the street to enjoy access to the river front trails. The suite was very clean, and the kitchen had all the necessary items for preparing food. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Absolute Gem of a location!
What a great place to stay, in a great location. We loved staying here. The sunrise suite was perfect for our Eclipse trip, and the amenities were fantastic. Highly recommend this cottage if you are staying in Kerrville!

Perfect Hill Country Work/Vacay
Cottage By The River was a perfect location for me. The cottage is conveniently located right on the Guadalupe River and the Texas Walking Trail. I work from home so WiFi is important to me and it worked well for my entire stay. Kerrville is also convenient located to Hunt, TX and the summer camps and Fredericksburg and Luckenbach. A great way to get a taste of the Texas Hill Country food, fun and music scene. I will definitely be staying again in the Sunrise Suite!

Sunrise Suite stay was great
My wife and I stayed in the Sunrise Suite in Kerrville for 3 nights. Everything went very smooth from booking to check-in. The property was exactly as described. We enjoyed a peaceful stay. Used the fire-pit down by the river for 2 of the nights. That was a fantastic amenity and they provided plenty of wood. The suite was very clean and comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.

Very welcoming host.
JT and Trissa are excellent hosts! They were more than willing to work out an option accommodating our special needs during our last-minute add-ons as a result of Christmas. The property is centrally located in Kerrville with backyard access to the Guadalupe River. The sunrise every morning was superb. We enjoyed sitting out on the porch and eating a late brunch. The common laundry facilities are well stocked and take one hassle out of packing for a holiday here. I highly recommend this rental when in the area for a holiday.

We had the best of both worlds , close proximity to all the city had to offer plus there was a nature trail so we could walk every night and saw deer, a skunk , birds, bats , fish , turtles , plus beautiful butterflies and dragonflies . It was a great little place to unwind and enjoy

Great Cottage by the Guadalupe
My husband and I are in are early 60s. We stayed in the Sunrise Cottage and had a wonderful time. We stayed for 4 nights. The cottage itself is very well thought out and perfect for two people. It feels very private which we had some concern about because it is connected to the main house. The cottage has a private porch and there are multiple outside areas to enjoy. It is just across the road from the walking/biking trails on the Guadalupe. We enjoyed cool morning bike rides. It is very close to restaurants near downtown Kerrville.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cottage by the River. It was so close to wonderful walking trails. The Cottage itself was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend the cottage and plan to stay there again the next time we go to Kerrville.

Cozy Cottage
We had a wonderful time this weekend in Kerville. A huge part of that was the beautiful cottage we stayed in. The communication with the owner was seamless. The house was perfectly clean and had every amenity you could want and more. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. I would absolutely recommend as well as stay there again!

Trissa And JT we’re great in every way! The cottage was so comfortable and convenient to town. The cottage was so comfortable and kitchen well stocked! The property is right on the River lotta of deer and ducks! We wish we could have spent more time outside but it was way to hot!! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

A wonderful get away spot.
Just a beautiful setting and a lovely clean and inviting cottage. Not a negative thing to say. Spacious and beautifully decorated with all the amenities you will need. Overlooking the river, next to the incredible river trail for walking, jogging or biking for miles. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Kerrville. Thank you!

This is a real jewel! Pictures are spot on! Lovely sitting areas on the river. Great porch! Everything you need to have a fabulous stay! We walked to restaurants! Wish we had time to ride bikes on the nature trail and use the kayaks in the river!! The place decorated so tastefully! The owners have really good taste!

This is a perfect place for professionals, or retired folks. Very relaxing, great views of the river and wildlife. We couldn’t ask for more from our accommodations or the landlords. Will be back next year.

We stayed 30 days in sunrise cottage. It was so cute and well maintained. JT and Trissa are very nice and are very accommodating with any issues we may have had. Although we Never had any issues just needed information. This is located on Guadalupe walking trail. It is beautiful and has everything you could ask for. If you need a place in Kerrville this should be the place, we loved it!

Nice getaway
A very nice cottage nicely decorated and clean. Good location in respect to downtown Kerrville. The walking paths are on the other side of the property. There are deer and ducks to watch in the outside spaces. I recommend for two people. We would go back.

We had a great time. The house was clean Only recommendation is there were 2 of us for 2 nights and were only given 2 washcloths. The bathroom sink has almost no water flow and couldn’t get hot water to come out of it all.

Super cute, updated property with perfect river location. We were in town for the triathlon and we were within walking distance of the finish line. Wish we would have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and kayaks. Next time for sure!!

Idyllic location on the Guadalupe River just steps away from the trails of Tranquility Island & the nature center! Outdoor amenities include a easy grade down to river with 4 seating areas and 2 fire pits, outdoor grill, smoker, steps into River and concrete ramp for kayaks. Owners supply kayaks, life jackets and bikes. There is ample off-street parking as well. The interior of the cabin is luxurious yet comfortable with great A/C, WiFi and streaming TV. The owners are onsite, welcoming & friendly yet unobtrusive. Pride of ownership shows throughout this lovely property with attention to ALL the details! We LOVED our stay & will return!

Great location & river view
If you’re looking for somewhere you can easily walk or bike around town, this is it. They’re Private property has several (shared) outdoor spaces overlooking the river. You are right off the paved walking trail that’s great for long walks, runs or bike rides. They even provide bikes to borrow. Space was decorated really comfortably and clutter free. I enjoyed my stay.

Very Relaxing Property
So much to enjoy out of doors without even getting in the car! We really enjoyed sitting outside by the river and watching the birds, deer and ducks. Some nice walking trails are in close proximity. The owner was very kind to make us a bonfire on our first night there. The home was cute and just perfect for our needs. Thanks for a great stay!

Restful weekend
The property is beautiful, well maintained and within walking distance of great restaurants and Kerrville's historic downtown. We enjoyed kayaking the Guadalupe, walking through the nature center and along the river trail. The only down side for us was the road noise. We're not use to it, so it was a distraction. It may not bother other people though. Over all it was an amazing place to stay!

Super nice place by the River
I had a work conference to go to midweek in San Marcos, so my mother and I decided to leave a few days early and have a mother-daughter getaway in the hill country before heading there, and this was the perfect little place for us. We enjoyed the area, the place was adorable, clean, and at night we sat down by the river and saw deer on both evenings.
