”Novel Hotel is a relatively modern resort on the shores of Lake Issyk-kul. It's location is at the far end of the strip of resorts centered around Cholpon-Ata. There are only a few General stores around the local Village and no restaurants, so eating options are restricted to the resort itself. ”Location is good, near the river and the cable car over the river. We only stayed for 1 night which was good. I didn’t realize when booking that there were no towels provided. We had a mat for the floor in the bathroom, but nothing to dry our hands on, or the teacups we used for breakfast.
