”We were impressed upon arrival to Gateway as the front landscaping & lobby were so welcoming! We loved the log furniture, antler chandelier, live plants, bronze artwork, etc. Staff was extremely friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Enclosed outdoor hot tub was charming; clean with ambiant lighting. Our room was renovated, nice-sized, clean, plenty of towels. Breakfast area was most pleasant with lots of options and well attended to by staff. Rate was most affordable. We highly recommend...

”This is the next best thing to home for us. The staff are all amazing people, they have treated me, my husband, and our children like family. It may be a rough part of town but it just adds character. The manager that runs this place is so very professional and she runs a tight ship keeping us safe and feeling welcome. This motel will always be our first choice. If you have anything bad to say about this motel or the staff that runs it, then kick rocks!!!! 😄”

”Great location. Walked to Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center then across the street to Casa Calaca for dinner and back to motel. Short easy walk.”

”The motel was little bit rundown. We almost run out of toilet paper as they only provided 1 roll. The manager said us a barbecue works, but the gas was out, and he was not willing to do anything for it (even though the gas station was 2 min walk away). Overall mediocre experience, but I guess that’s what you can expect for the price.”
