”Nice staying at Browns Inn at Salida. We were satisfied with accommodation and service but sustainability could be thought better (the same thing applies to many other hotels as well). Why do hotels still have plastic cutlery and cardboard plates? ”

”Breakfast was excellent. Room was not ready for almost an hour past ck in time. One lamp didn’t work at all, one had a dim bulb so room was kinda dark. AC was marginal. Two mosquitoes in room greeted us!”

”The lobby and breakfast area was very nice, and looked recently renovated, and new. The rest is what you’d expect from a classic motel. The room was on the small side compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, but it was clean and comfortable.”

”Very cool vintage motor lodge. Very clean, nice staff. The Airstreams are a nice addition, however we stayed in one of the rooms. The rooms have been rehabbed with really nice touches. The only two drawbacks were the lack of a pool, which would have been nice, and the window air conditioner was not adequate for the summer heat. It was in the 80's during the day and the AC couldn't keep up.”
