”We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door.
Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. The room was well appointed, spacious with a two-seater table and...

”Room was clean and in nice condition. Nice that there was a bar area in the evening. My only complaint was our keys kept malfunctioning. One wouldn’t work and then the other wouldn’t work. It happened three times. ”
