”The food at drinks in the evening were nice”

”Stay here for our visit at MSU. The location was perfect for getting to MSU and sort of in the middle of town. We were able to explore Starkville easily and the staff was very helpful with advice and suggestions! Very clean and plenty of parking, couldn’t ask for more!”

”The Hotel and staff were very accommodating. We had an issue with a third party booking (Expedia), for the paid rates. Devon was able to adjudicate the rates and get us checked in. One of the hotel beds nearest the door was sinking in the middle.”

Around 9:00 PM teenagers were running, screaming, slamming/knocking on many doors and using profanity in the hallways especially across from my room on the 3rd floor. I went to the front desk to report this. The desk clerk informed security via walkie talkie. 15-20 minutes later the behavior escalated so I called the Meridian Police Department and asked for help. 30 -45 minutes later it finally stopped!! ”This might have been the rattiest La Quinta I have ever stayed in. I've been a big fan of this hotel chain for the last 20 plus years but this one was about as bad as I've ever seen it. To start on a positive note, the staff was fantastic, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast is good. But, the exterior of the building facade is missing pieces and has some kind of oxidation or calcium deposits running down the face of the building. ”Beautiful hotel!! Only complaint is only one of the 3 elevators are working and it’s slowwwwww.. people were aggravated about it. Staff in boxcar rooftop restaurant are too busy chit chatting and they don’t focus on customers..food is just ok.. simple bar food..”

”Easy door code check in was great for our 11pm arrival. The room was very clean and the sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The room was small but had everything needed. The shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. We didn’t use any amenities but observed others having a great time in the pool turned into a place to hang out. 10 minute walk to downtown for coffee or lunch.”

”I'm still waiting, I spoke to you all on Tuesday, I was told a supervisor would call me back. I didn't stay at Holiday Inn, I requested Meridian, MS., you gave me a location 40 minutes back the other direction. Please understand, i've done a lot of packages with you all, this is unacceptable. I expect a call from a supervisor ASAP. Thank you!”

”Awesome staff, Cleanliness is a plus for me and it was fulfilled. This is actually our 2nd time staying here, and both never disappointed. Definitely will be our "Go To" Hotel everytime we touch down in Columbus.”
