”The ladies at the front desk really made all the difference to me. I wish I could remember both of their names. One's name, I think, was Gabby. They could not have been more courteous, welcoming and helpful. Always a smile and eager to help. They get the five stars. ”The hotel was very old and in need of pretty serious renovations. They also don’t have basic amenities like a microwave or a fridge in the rooms. Aside from that it was okay. The room seemed clean enough but the AC has a low, medium, high dial setting and no real way to control the temperature. I would personally not stay here again unless I had to, but there wasn’t really any one thing that made it so awful I would never return.”

The host told me about the mennonite community nearby and how to get there and...
