”Definitely a must every time I'm in Ely, what a great piece of history this hotel is. If you want brand new this is not it, but instead you travel back in time. The room was clean and smelled good. The 2 drinks vouchers were also much appreciated 👏”

”Just what we expected. A small room with the basic amenities. But they nailed the important details - a great bed, high quality linens, soft fluffy towels and a quiet refrigerator. Really easy check-in. Lots of supplies in the small office. Quiet location. The town of Austin was very cool. Helpful suggestions from the staff.”

”This is a difficult review because the outside of the property is a dump. The parking lot is rough and muddy. Half the guest vehicles are construction trucks. The stairwell to the second floor is open expanded metal that caused us serious depth perception problems. The second floor walkway was (I assume) outdoor carpet that has been ripped up. The walkway floor is covered with loose glue and sand that gets tracked into the room.
The clerk checking us in was as nice and helpful as she could be....

”Our stay was for one night on our way to Great Basin NP. The beds were comfortable. The rooms could use some deep cleaning and it was on the main road so it was noisy. It's an old hotel but served our purpose for the night.”

”It’s a small place, right on the Main Street. Brick building that fits so well with the little town. Clean, quiet, off street parking. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was fine, nothing special. We were there with our pup, which was easy. And we didn’t feel like we were given a “dog”
room. We loved it!”
