”I apparently misread the listing when I booked. I thought there was a pool. We checked in at the very reasonable hour of 5 pm. We have checked in at midnight and been greeted by friendlier staff. When we asked the woman at the counter if there was a pool she said, “no one is drowning on my watch!” Which was an oddly dark response. Especially since I know of children who have drowned and advocate for water safety. I said “oh, is the pool closed due to lack of staff?” She said, no, there is...
