”The rooms are very very basic. Not even a mirror in the bathroom, hairdryer or iron and ironing board in the room. The bathroom basin was tiny with old fashioned seperate hot and cold water taps. We asked WiFi but were not given even a password with the reason being that it didn't extend to our room and the technician is on holidays. The bed was comfortable. We only stayed one night so it was fine for that.”

No information when checking in about wifi password (it’s on the fridge which could have been relayed at check-in). Air con didn’t seem to cool the room. Steps from car park to lifts. No ramp for suitcases. No trolleys for assistance with multiple suitcases. No local information in the room. No phone to contact reception for queries. ”

”Great house, but no ability to make coffee. No beach towels or beach chairs, despite a beach right there. No instructions for anything in or around the house. There was a pool in the large complex that we never could find. How to get to the beach was a mystery we solved, but with no help. House was otherwise nice & well-equipped; managers no help with anything. ”

”Our apartment had a lovely outlook over the river. It was near the ‘new’ bridge but was very quiet, very clean & well appointed. The bed was comfortable & bathroom pristine. It was close to shops & restaurants which were an easy walk along the waterfront or through the back of the hotel to a mall nearby for supplies. Our car is high so we couldn’t use the underground parking but there was ample parking available at the back of the hotel.”
