Checking in was smooth and we were escorted to our bungalow (make sure to have a high car as you will drive through a low river). Bungalow was private and very clean. ”I will say this hotel was amazing the Homewood across street had some difficulty there but this one location is perfect next to food other than the hotel, a pharmacy and a grocery store all one min walk. Area was great and hotel was beautiful staff amazing. ”

”We spent two nights in a boutique type hotel Volcanes. It was located in the very center of Alajuela. It’s a small family run hotel with a good friendly english speaking staff. Breakfast is served by your order and it certainly is fresh. Rooms are very tidy as all the public areas. You can find rooms for different price categories. We liked it very much. ”
