”The overall property is very beautiful, located in a forest setting. The open air restaurant with its observation deck is a great place for birdwatching since there are feeders at the edge of the deck and the staff puts out fruit and seeds early when the birds are active. The staff is wonderful, very helpful and friendly! And the location is very near the river tours and Carara National Park.
The only negative thing we can offer is that the standard room is very basic, and shows some signs of...

”We loved this place as our home base!
Very safe, private, secure, clean, and great customer service.
Alejandro the waiter is the best!! Learned our names the first night and made us feel so welcome. Anytime he saw us, in the parking lot or walking to our room, he would yell out a name and greet us and ask how our day went. He made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Venting a room here is a steal!!!”

”The hotel is nice and very clean. Breakfast was good with enough options. The room was maybe a little bit worn out (mainly the kitchen) but it didn't bother us. Super quiet. Part of the reception staff would maybe need an improvement in their attitude, a few of them were not very welcoming and it seemed that they were not very keen on resolving the customer's questions. After all many times the quality of the customer service is what makes the difference.”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and we never felt otherwise during our stay. The building itself is a bit worn and has more of a hostel-style feel. While that may work well for some travelers, we were personally hoping for more of a bed-and-breakfast atmosphere”
