”It was a little difficult to find, however we made it. Loved, Loved, did I mentioned that we Loved it there. So gracious host we so loved them, so very nice and caring people. We cried to leave this beautiful area. The gardener did not speak English but was so very friendly. We Loved the dog's they had, Rottweilers so so friendly, we got some treats to give them and they showed up every morning like they knew us forever. They came to visit us in the morning while we sat on the patio.”

”It rains quite often, so there is always water in the waterfalls, which are quite magnificent. You can handfeed toucans and hummingbirds in the park. In the hotel room's balcony there is a hummingbird feeder so that you can watch them very close. The tour to volcano Poas was a disappointment. The staff advised us to reserve the tour on a previous day, when you have no idea about the weather in the mountain. We didn't see anything there.”

”This lodge and spa is located in a valley between two mountain ranges at about 5000 feet (compared to Monte Verde 4300 feet) and is considered to be within the range of cloud forest. When we arrived, we were checked in and the host was very nice but failed to give us clear information of how to navigate the privately owned cloud forest with very hilly resort location and four water falls all within the property. ”We had a great honeymoon at Xandari! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and really easy to maneuver around. We wish we would've taken advantage of the spa during our stay, hut we didn't have time. Only issues we had were that our power went out a couple times when it rained and one night we had to wait till the next day for it to come back on. Other than that, everything was beautiful and an exciting way to experience Costa Rica for the first time!”

”This is a uniquely beautiful hotel and very eco-friendly. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Outside of the burger (somewhat cold /underdone) the food was very good albeit pricey. We would return in a heartbeat if we could and wished we had a longer stay”

”El cuarto del presidential suite en las ventanas le hacian falta persianas, el cual permitia el ingreso de la claridad cuando amanecia. Luego el olor de la habitacion, se percibia un olor a humedad por falta de ventilacion del cuarto. El cuarto si era comodo en cuanto a tamaño y por otro lado comida estaba bien. Sin embargo observe un gato dentro de la cocina eso no me agrado mucho. El personal que hay se observo que hacen u esfuerzo por brindar un buen servicio. En general considero...
