Hotellit kohteessa Keskusta, Banner Elk

”under construction, building is in sad shape”

”The room was spacious enough, but on our first day, the TV wasn't working; we were told this was an issue in all the rooms. When I asked at the reception the next morning, they were completely unaware of the problem but promised to look into it. Naturally, we received no compensation. The TV was indeed fixed on the second day. I had also booked breakfast with the room, but the meal was poor and not worth the price. The selection was very limited, and the portions were far from satisfying.”

”Love this spot how much fun if you had a family with you it was clean the food truck had excellent food convenient to where we were heading and actually I loved it. The only issue I had was the young lady at the bar was kind of not helpful when I asked her simple questions like how do I order my food otherwise I would highly recommend and highly stay here again. One of the best places we’ve been in the river was just to hop skipping away, and it was beautiful morning to be down by it.”

”Staff and breakfast were amazing. Room cleanliness could have been a better but not bad. No blackout curtains. There was an event while we were there and parking was chaotic. Also it can be very loud in the rooms during events. Overall a decent place to stay. The property is beautiful.”

”Room was clean. Nice coffee and cocoa available. Breakfast was standard. Good selection of items. Adequate seating. They ran out of sausage. Check in was a wait when there was two registers and three people chatting. When it was my turn, it was fast and efficient. I would recommend you stay here.”

”The property was clean upon arrival. It was nicely decorated and cozy. We visited during July 4th, which happened to be the hottest week of the summer so far. The issue I have with the property is that the listing failed to mention the home did not have air conditioning. I only discovered this after I made the reservation and received a confirmation email. At that point, my money was non-refundable. Despite having ceiling fans, the bedrooms reached a temperature of 84 degrees at night....

”Staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.”

”There were no safe gluten free options. More importantly, I paid for my room while booking. I was charged again for my room at an even higher rate after checking. So I was charged twice for the same room and the same stay and am now working to get the second charge removed.”

”I stayed in one of the log cabin hotel rooms. The room was spacious, and the fireplace was cute with plenty of firewood available. However, there were multiple stink bugs that had invaded the room. Also, the glass patio door had smudges, dog nose, prints, or sticky toddler hand prints all over it. The tile in the bathroom floor is cracked. The stairs up to the second floor are slanted and a little treacherous.”

”Perfect! Thanks!👍”

”The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean. My biggest issue was the breakfast. We like to stay somewhere that has a decent breakfast so we don’t have to stop first thing in the morning. They had juice/coffee, boiled eggs, microwaveable sausage biscuits, muffins, pre sliced bagels. They also had a waffle machine. The first day was ok, we ate what they had and it served the purpose. The second day the microwave was broke and the waffle mix was so thin that it was just burning and not filling...

”The first unit I reserved had some issues - sliding door wouldn't open and logging into the TV, but the host moved us to another unit that was much better. We didn't know that places would be closed either due to it being off season or Easter weekend. We had to go into Banner Elk to eat and buy groceries. Just wanted to add that for people like us that don't travel to the mountains often. Overall we had a good trip, but I would stay in Banner Elk, Boone, or Blowing Rock next time.”
