”Great updated historical property! Food was excellent and enjoyed the bars with different settings and live music.”

”Very cute little place. Family run. Nothing fancy. Clean, comfortable and safe. Well stocked kitchenette. Great towels. Good coffee too. We enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended.”

”Lovely spot, easy to get to and easy to walk from there to everywhere in town. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay while we were in town for a friend's wedding. Thank you!”

”Professional staff, room was super nice, clean, complimentary breakfast was well kept, items were hot and good. Clean breakfast area.”

”Super clean!! Especially with it spread out. Beautiful mornings drinking coffee and looking at the mountains. Be prepared, it is a drive so bring what you need!!”

”Very professional”

”It was easy to access from the interstate. The lady at the desk had a list of eating places and the times they were open, which is always good when you are not a local. I would recommend it for people to stay there and would stay again when close to the area”

”Power went out, but that was hurricanes fault. Shower cycled from cold to hot, on hot setting. Shower head inefficient. Walls paper thin, felt like we couldnt make 'noise'. Heat unit was way noisy. Cool old place though, comsidering the items above. Guy running the place (which i think he was temporary) said they were having trouble finding someone to run the joint, so I'd expect for this place to not last. Oh, volume control on remotes did not work. Resturant and bar not open.”

”A cheap place to stay near the parkway, the owner was nice.”

”The rooms are clean and okay. Our room had, light bulbs burned out, closet door would not close, shower curtain stuck on curtain rack. Only soap, shampoo and busted lotion bottle. The restaurant was not enjoyable because of the food quality/cooking was poor. Restaurant service was barely okay because we didn't get what we ordered. Very slow service. Hot tub was closed. Disappointed. Person who worked Ice Cream bar was disrespectful and downright hateful. The best thing is the beautiful...

”At check in we had to provide all the information that was provided online to Wyndham Super 8. The attendant gave us our key and told us the stairs were behind us, “The owner is cheap and doesn’t think an elevator is necessary. The light at the sink flickered and then never worked again. We immediately notice the missing bar for TP with the TP roll stuck on the bar and there was only 1/4 of a roll. Over 3 days we never received more TP and ran out the morning of check out, forced to use facial...

”Everything was clean and ready for us. Was a cold week but still nice and warm with the gas logs. Kitchen was supplied with utensils and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our stay. We will be back. ”

”Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....
