”Lovely staff, very friendly. The guesthouse is located a bit away from the town centre, but for me that was fine. It was anyway in a walking distance from bus station (that I needed). My room was nice with a fridge, television and a possibility to make tea. Also wi-fi. All the facilities (toilet and shower) were in a corridor, but they were nice and clean and as there were only a couple of rooms, I never had to wait for my turn.”

”The owner has to do the school run but leave her number on the door so you don’t have to wait long. She is really professional, polite and welcoming. Room was comfy and quite with a fridge and microwave in room which is a bonus for longer stays. No parking but a car park is situated 2 mins away and £6.10 for 24hrs is a good rate. Also paid by phone so you don’t have to worry about tickets on dashboard. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors down very reasonably priced. Didn’t try the...

”I was staying in the area for 3 days with work. I was considering a chain hotel but saw this on Hotels.com. It was reasonably priced and close to where I was working. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was a lovely little self contained cottage whee I could finish work and shut myself away from the world. There was a microwave and kettle although no oven or hob but there is a decent pub a few yards down the road for food. A lovely quiet oasis in a busy, frantic world”

”The location is amazing, its so quiet. Walking from the car park to the room (which is less then a minute walk) all you could hear were the birds tweeting which was very relaxing. The room itself was nice and cosy, very clean and stocked with a kettle for tea and coffee which were supplied and a fan in the wardrobe, towels and toiletries.
