”Recently renovated and very clean.”

”Enjoyed our stay very much! Property and room was clean. Staff were very accommodating. Loved the breakfast, so many options and really great cooked food to select from. Would definitely stay here again”

”This hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and the staff are pleasant and professional. The room is comfortable and spotless. I particularly loved the shower with the two shower heads!”

”Clean and spacious room. TV remote's batteries needed replacement. There appears to be an insufficient number of staff to properly serve customers with staff doing double duty at the reception desk and the bar.”

”It was a nice room with vinyl plank flooring very clean and a great breakfast”

”Great location and helpful, friendly staff. We had breakfast before leaving and enjoyed our stay.”

”We stayed at By The River for 2 nights for our 25th wedding anniversary. I can’t explain in enough words how much we loved staying there. The house is so big and beautiful and has so much charm. ”It was in an excellent location. Roof top patio was beautiful.”

”Excellent amenities. Unfortunately not enough time to enjoy.”

”This is an old, tired, low cost motel. It's run down and totally lacking in proper maintenance. There is paint missing from the walls but there is lots of paint stains on the floor. this is not a place that I will return to. I love little privately owned family run motels and this is not one of them.”
