Lomamajat – Khokhamoya

”We enjoyed our stay so much. Lodge where so easy to be and we felt our self very safe also. Everywhere where very clean and a hole place where decorated very cosy. Staff where so friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast where very excelent and dinner also. Remember to have vines, they where so good. We had lucky to see 9 elephant in a backyard and 2 hippos. Also location where perfekt about 20 km from Paul Kruger gate. Best regards Minna and Heikki from Finland”

”The lodge sucks, food is not good and bad quality with zero vegetarian options. Rooms are ok probably the only decent thing. Some staff are also friendly. Furniture around lodge needs upgrading. Everything falling apart. Especially around the pool area very dangerous chairs. The front desk isn't knowledgeable about safaris, which is hard to believe since that's all they do... all day every day. They can only offer Echo tours from lobby. But they do a terrible service. Sadly guests have no...

”Misleading, Unsafe, and Overpriced: Avoid Tranquil Nest Lodge I checked out after one night of a 4-night stay at Tranquil Nest Lodge. Despite claiming a 4-star rating, it is a neglected 2-star setup at best. • Safety Hazard: Advertised as a "luxury tent" with a separate bedroom, it is just a single open canvas room. The bathroom and kitchen sit in a detached outbuilding. Management explicitly warns that the grounds have venomous snakes and forbids walking after 7:00 PM. Risking snakebites and...

”The property is extremely hard to find because the Google map will not be able to get you there. The staff was not prepared for our arrival, as they already had anticipated that we would not be able to find it. Consequently, the restaurant had a menu but there were only two different cuts of steak. with one piece each. since there was nothing else we ate the steak, which was fine. Getting there, you will have to travel through some neighbourhoods that didn’t seem too safe to me.”

”This place is creepy and the food is very bad, rotten”

”The Room was great and clean. The main fault was the inability to be able to walk out of the lodge and have the freedom to go out to the shops and town. This was because you needed to pay for transport everytime you wanted to leave as you can't walk up to the from gate (risk of being run over by a hippo). This would prevent us from going back in the future. ”

”Very nice and clean house in Kruger Parke Lodge with enough space for 5, even 6 persons. 3 bathrooms. Washing mashine and dryer worked well, at least during non-load-sheeding times. The beds were a bit inconvenient for us. Probably because of its thatched roof, the house smelled a little like a horse stable. Some maintenance work in the building during our stay, but this was announced. One needs to be aware that the house is not close to the main area with reception, restaurant and pool. Most...
