”We've stayed here in past years and really enjoyed it. The pool is small, but the pool and spa are a pleasant place to relax. We like the refrigerator and microwave in the rooms, and the water-filling station in the lobby. This time, we found out the pool and spa were closed once we got there. They were able to send us a Welcome message, but not a message about their amenities being unavailable. ”Interesting and unique place ! The bed was super comfortable, slept great. Rooms very small and no extra frills, it worked for the main purpose, sleep, shower. Perfect place for travelers to meet and mingle. Mostly spent our time in Truckees many restaurants/bars or Northstar skiing. I would recommend if looking for a lil more affordable place ! Personally a lil pricy for a hostel, but its Truckee, tourist town and close to skii resorts, thats just the way it is !”

”Room, kitchen, bathroom, family room was clean. Only issue was the sink and shower faucet was very stiff and hard to adjust. Quiet and the balcony was wonderful. Convenient location.”

”Great location, I would call it more of a motel than a hotel. They provide you with 2 sets of ear plugs because the walls are paper thin. But if your neighbors are quiet you should be good.”

”A little slice of heaven in the mountains. I haven’t stayed during ski season but this lodge is part of the Sierra Club. I stayed towards end of spring/early summer and found this to be a beautiful lodge with every amenity a weekend camper or van lifer would need. They have clean bathrooms, a beautiful main room to hangout in, a kitchen room with fridge and microwave (I believe the original kitchen is no longer available unless they have events or food plans running for ski season).
