”Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. ”I loved the room itself. Very comfortable, clean ,and well kept. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Great access to historic Nauvoo. The only downside is that the rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors right above a barbecue restaurant. Which was in the description. But, they are carpeted and not to code. The building was built in the 1800's. I am a large person with bad joints. I knew that there were stairs, but I was on the 3rd floor. The stairs were a challenge and a trip...
