"Just a lovely place to stay with great staff and friendly atmosphere. This is a “proper” castle - built 900 years ago. We ate at one of the restaurants and had a lovely meal. Gardens have several walks including a long walk through local woods which we enjoyed."

"We stayed in a suite overlooking the gardens. The room was stunning and very tastefully decorated. We had a separate sitting room. Bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the spa and hydrotherapy pool."
