I have not stayed somewhere so beautiful in a long time. The surrounding woods are vast and lovely. It was snowy during our trip and everything was picturesque. The cabin was bright clean and warm. Everything was comfortable. The hot tub on a snowy evening is memorable. I would love to visit again in the summer. My dogs LOVED it! Such a peaceful trip! THANK YOU!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed besides food. Hot tub was squeaky clean and a fantastic addition to the experience in these chilly months. The owners were kind, courteous, and prompt with answering any questions we had. Cell phone service was limited but enough to send out calls/text if needed, just no social media (which is what we wanted!). Definitely looking for ways to return in the warmer months to explore the trails out back.

The listing is absolutely spot on, wonderful cabin, fireplace was wonderful and the hot tub, plus the linens were great as well as the kitchen amenities, A mint on the pillows was a nice touch, so were the fresh eggs. The TV and Blu-ray plaver along with the selection of movies was very nice. Our weekend getaway alone was perfect here, and the dogs loved laying in front of the fireplace and playing with the toys. We will definately be back!!! Thank you!!!!

From cozy furnishings to tasteful decor, it truly feels like a home away from home. One of the standout features is the Jacuzzi. Whether you’re soaking in the warm bubbles under a starlit sky or unwinding after a long day of exploring, it’s pure bliss. Additionally, the cabin comes with plenty of modern amenities, making it a great balance of rustic and luxurious. The thoughtful touches made our stay even more memorable. Complementary snacks were waiting for us upon arrival—a delightful treat that instantly made us feel welcome. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen, comfy bedding, and a spacious outdoor area perfect for sipping coffee or enjoying nature. If you're seeking a quiet retreat with all the comforts of home and then some, this cabin is a must-visit. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

We come to Mohican every year to relax for a few days, do some hiking, bask in the peace, and hit that big red reset button. This was our first time at Ethan’s Retreat, but will hopefully not be the last! Being able to include our fur-babe in our trip was the cherry on top of this phenomenal stay. Clean, quiet, adorable, and so comfy! Would love to stay in the winter. I bet it’s like a wonderland!

This cabin is cute, clean, well-stocked, and 100% pet friendly. Both my partner and I enjoyed the cabin thoroughly, but I think our dogs liked it even more! I would highly recommend this place and I hope to come stay again!

My family truly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect little cabin surrounded by beautiful trees. My children loved walking the trails and enjoyed smores by campfire. The hosts were kind enough to provide some snacks and even dog treats! We made memories our children talked about all the way home. we manynextras likes
