”The room and hotel were not clean. The shower especially! The tv didn’t work and they were full so couldn’t move us to another room. We asked for a discount but they said because I paid through Expedia there was nothing they could do. We will not be back, we travel to this area once a month. No tv??? They should check these things. The property does not live up to the photos online. Buyer beware!!!”

”I booked this for my Fiance who flew from Naples, Fl to visit her father for Father’s Day. He is in an assisted living facility. She checked into the hotel and the front desk person was in her office smoking a cigarette. She got to the room and she felt very uncomfortable. ”Staff was wonderful. Night check in was very sweet and helpful. Despite some cleanliness issues and room changes, she was gracious, patient, and overall pleasant and kind. Check out also had a wonderful and sweet lady working. Coffee was excellent in the morning. Dog friendly with large green space . The only issue was the beds and tubs were not that clean , pull out was quite dirty, you could tell it wasn’t cleaned and beds were not cleaned between guests. Tub not clean so we decided not to...

”Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!”
