”The property had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. It was a lovely quiet area and the large garden was good for the dogs, although we would normally choose somewhere that has private outside space. Overall we had a lovely week’s stay.”

”Communication with host was good which made the check in process easy. Lovely little place which had everything you need. Lots of hot water, and comfort. Location ideal for walks from the property and several beaches to choose from.”

”I can’t recommend this property enough. Lovely host. Amazing view, every morning. So much to do in the locality. Even just hiking around Start Point was breathtaking. I was expecting a nice week. I’ve had some of the best memories of my life.”

”The view without doubt is the obvious selling point. With this being an apartment you need to be aware that if all apartments occupied privacy is affected. We were lucky in that it was empty bar us. There are some elements which need tlc ie sun loungers were in need of replacement and some bulbs need replacing.throughout the property. The area is lovely for beach and walks, and very relaxing. Nice walk along coastal path to Challaborough with the reward of fish and chips at Fryer Tucks. Overall...

”We stayed here with 4 people for a week, one bedroom has the most amazing view of the sea and we spent so much time enjoying the view from the living room too. Well equipped kitchen in almost everything (we did need to buy sponge, washing detergent and shower gel/shampoo). Amazing walks nearby and great capability for kite and wind surfing nearby. Lovely walks along the beach and swimming capabilities just through the private access to the sea.”

”So close to the beach the flat was very convenient, it’s the first flat as you enter the complex so easy to unload your belongings. The kitchen equipment worked well, the bedrooms were small as was the on suite shower. Not luxurious in my opinion but comfortable, easy to walk to the local pub and the Stokeley farm shop is brilliant.”

”The appartment is very stylish and has everything you need and lot of things you can do at home. There are many DVDs, books and games. Our son and we enjoyed our stay very much.”

The property itself was spotlessly clean; spacious and light; with a well equipped kitchen with all your homely facilities; had convenient dedicated parking; and perfectly located for access to the beautiful areas around South Hams, and of course Torcross with its 3 mile beach and picturesque surroundings.”

”This is a lovely property, a few things need replacing, the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable to the point my husband has to sleep on the sofa. The location was lovely, the views were amazing and we had a nice holiday.”

”Not bad for the price. Torcross is an interesting and pleasant location. The apartment was more or less up to expectations. It was advertised as having two bathrooms and a terrace - neither of which was true. They might have been major issues, but fortunately not for us. The main niggles were filthy outside window surfaces and non-functioning extractor fan in the - only - bathroom.”

”Gorgeous little place. Fabulous location for getting to Kingsbridge, Dartmouth, Slapton etc. immaculately clean & has everything you could need, fully integrated kitchen & modern bathroom. Bed is so comfy! Lovely lovely owners, go out of their way. Nice touches like a welcome basket with local produce. Lovely outdoor bit to sit in and BBQ. Would definitely stay again. Big thank you!”

”We had great time, nice spot. Here’s what needs sorting in flat; sofa bed is knackered and drops in middle where there’s no support. No cork screw. TV could be bigger and wasn’t connected to internet so limited viewing.”

”This was our base for walking the last leg of the SW Coastal path from Dartmouth to Plymouth. It was perfect. Recommend the Hope and Anchor in Hope cove. Averil was a superb host.”

”We had a wonderful 4 days at Iris Cottage. Set in beautiful countryside, the accommodation was lovely and the facilities on site were perfect for our group. Swings and play room for youngest to tennis, snooker and golf for older ones. The swimming pool was used by all of us. Would definitely recommend for all ages. We are looking forward to visiting again”
