”The space was well appointed and needed items such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and dishwasher tablets were all there. Family Fare grocery store is across the street for any foods items I needed. There was only one small ice tray, so buying bagged ice is required. Additional trays would have been nice. There is no outdoor space for sitting outside. Parking is very limited. A sign in the unit would be worthwhile to indicate where parking is allowed. Overall I enjoyed my stay.”

”Victorian duplex in a convenient location. Beautiful floors and original (steep) staircase. Needed some basic upkeep but that’s not that big of a deal. Cleanliness was just ok. The issue is when the listing reads two bathrooms with a shower in each, yet there is only one tiny shower, that was very disappointing. Sent a message and the response was that it’s listed correctly. And then asked if there was something that they could do… not sure how to respond to that. Nothing that can be done. And...

”Location was great, a short walk to downtown and the waterfront. The rental was not particularly clean and was probably rushed to market after a low effort flip. Faucets and bath fixtures are not properly installed, door handles are not mounted correctly, light fixtures are limited and its often the equivalent of a plain bulb in the ceiling. Glass top range has not been properly cleaned, and has a crusty brown coating on each burner. Trim was roughly painted, just one of many details...

”I haven’t used VRBO a lot, and was a little nervous as I booked this house the day before we needed it. But I’ll tell you, we couldn’t have been happier. The host was very responsive, had an incredibly clean house, matched the pictures given and was close enough to downtown Traverse City that we could be there in 20 minutes. We used this as a hub as we traveled each day to a new beach and cities like Muskegon, Glen Arbor and more. If all of the VRBOs are as easy to book, are exactly as...
