”Clean rooms”

”Needed a two night stay to visit family in the area. The staff is phenomenal. The biggest reason for my review is to announce that I appreciated them greatly. Super friendly, good conversation and patient. My husband, two children and I fit comfortably in the two queen bed room. My mother had to purchase her own room due to fire safety (completely understandable). We swam in the pool the first night but did not stay in long due to an overwhelming smell. ”Comfortable rooms”

”The rooms are only separated by a locked door. The person in the room next to us was blasting music all evening. We complained to the front desk, they said they would call the room and have them turn the music down, that never happened. The music blared all night resulting in no sleep for my husband and I, with a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Okay place just to lay your head, but not if you want to get a restful sleep”

”Our stay at The Opal and West House was amazing! We stayed for a friend’s wedding and found traveling around the city extremely easy and quick while staying here. There was unfortunately an issue with our AC during the first day of our stay, but Lynsie was so accommodating ensuring us a perfect stay! We can’t wait to come back!”

”The room and hotel were not clean. The shower especially! The tv didn’t work and they were full so couldn’t move us to another room. We asked for a discount but they said because I paid through Expedia there was nothing they could do. We will not be back, we travel to this area once a month. No tv??? They should check these things. The property does not live up to the photos online. Buyer beware!!!”

”Firehouse Inn is filled with olde world charm. Hand painted walls, claw foot chairs, Bose audio system for easy listening, TV and a fireplace in large living room. Dining area can seat multiple guests in comfort. The hospitality is amazing! Donna’s cooking skills are mouthwatering and Mary is the go to person to get you settled in. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lounge chair with ottoman and spotless bathroom. Shower was large enough for two people 👍! Will definitely visit again.”
