It is a very small property and there were some quirks (heaters, water heater for shower, washing machine) that we would have appreciated clearer communication about how to properly use them. ”Ich und mein Mann waren mit unseren beiden Hunden 3 Wochen hier. Das Haus ist groß und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt eigentlich alles was man braucht. Meinem Mann fehlte nur eine Kaffeemaschine :) Man hat alles was man braucht in der Nähe (Supermärkte, Restaurants, Bars, Shopping, Aktivitäten). Der Nationalpark ist wunderschön und man hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern. Das war unser Hauptgrund für den Urlaub. Aber auch nach Glasgow oder Edinburgh war es nicht zu weit für einen Tagesausflug....

”Nice house in an ideal location to enjoy the local area. We stayed for a week and the location was great for a some exellent walking, cycling and relaxing. The house is well equipped, warm, comfortable and clean, it has the added bonuis of a lockable outhouse which was good for storing bikes. Grantown is just along the road with a good range of shops, cafes and other facilities. Aviemore slighly further afield for a larger shops and amenties. Overall a throughouly enjoyable stay and...

”We had a lovely stay at The Oak House in the village of Tomatin. The house was beautiful. Look for the hidden bedroom. The sunrises were picture perfect through the hobbit arch in the garden. Distance from Inverness and from Aviemore were easy. Super quiet stay in a beautiful home.”
