About your Accommodations
This rare Whiskey Towers hotel condo offers a retreat for single person or couple with 1 queen bed. The view of Red Cliffs and Whiskey Run from this 6th story room is lovely during every season of the year.  Easily ski in to the buildings entrance to grab lunch in the condo or take advantage of the 7800’ Bar & Grill at the base of Whiskey Towers. A mini fridge and microwave have been provided for convenient quick meals and snacks. Stay connected while on vacation with the wifi provided in this condo. Only one bed, but a bigger bathroom!

Great location but could do a better job with trash
Great on mountain location for a ski trip to Kirkwood. Comfortable bed, great kitchen essentials, super close to the lifts, convivial 7800 bar downstairs. I have to give four stars though as the building seemed to have fairly major issues with securing their garbage. Two issues stood out: The most over the top was bags of garbage strewn about a first floor area right off the entrance to the towers. I noticed this on my first day there, and it was not cleaned up throughout the course of my 4-day stay. Very strange, it looked like animals had gotten into the building and torn through several bags of garbage. I kept expecting someone from the condos or restaurant to clean it up, but they never did. The second issue, which is more understandable, was that bags of garbage were put outside and not secured in the dumpster. This led to a group of crows picking into them and spreading garbage around the parking area. This was addressed by a person plowing relatively quickly, so kudos on that. Overall, a good place that I would recommend to others. I just think management can do better on this issue. Besides, this type of trash management is likely to lead to rodents.

Can't beat the location
We couldn't have been happier with our stay! They provided dishware, tupperware, a sponge, utensils, salt and pepper and coffee pot, microwave, mini fridge and toaster. Fun that the 7800 club is right below for a quick bite. They had live music going on the patio a few afternoons too :) Definitely would recommend staying here

The location was excellant. The main door would not lock although I was given a code to get into it. The unit I stayed in was not cleaned thouroughly, in my opinion. There were cosmetics under the nightstand, sunscreen tubes behind the window blinds and the microwave was GROSS. Luckily I had Lysol wipes and took care of the microwave. There were dishes available but I questioned their cleanliness since the hot water certainly did not get hot enough to kill germs, if the dishes were in fact washed. The heat and psi of the shower was not very adequate for a very cold week. The bathroom had no heat and the bedroom was very cold even with the "electric" heater at its max, from the time I walked in on Sunday until the time I left on Thursday. I slept in full sweats and socks every night. There were no additional blankets available. Im fairly certain that the overall temperature control was in one of the other three areas that I did not have access to. It appeared that one condo had been made into three "suites/rooms or whatever". For the costs this was a rip off.

Great for a single!
I enjoyed my five nights here at this ski-in/ski-out property. They have a bigger refrigerator now. The heater was a Godsend. Even had a toaster. There are cutlery, plates & kitchen tool essentials for two as well It was good to stay here because the restaurant, 7800 Bar & Grill, is on the ground floor. It was the only restaurant open for dinner on the resort property. I'd stay here again.

Worse place we have ever rented
This property was a condo split into two units. Our heat was controlled by the other unit. They added a floor heater that didn’t work well. We were either cold or hot. Wasn’t very clean. Uncomfortable bed. It was so bad we couldn’t sleep so we checked out early. No consideration by the property manager to comp us anything. We did contact them, but I’m sure they will respond that we didn’t or did the best they could etc. The reality is this listing does not accurately describe the unit

Great convenient access to slopes and 7800
It was a great experience! The check in and check out process is a bit formulaic (we left a day early but couldn’t check out early) but that is my main complaint. They are redoing the hallways which will be really nice once done but it didn’t bother us at all. Would definitely stay again.

Adequate lodging for 1-2
This is a very small room but adequate for 1-2 people that will be out skiing all day. My main recommendation is a little larger refrigerator for people that are staying several days and a dining table and comfortable chairs to eat. We didn’t have any plates to begin with but someone brought some right over to us when we called.
