”Fantastic hotel with restaurant and wine options. Breakfast buffet was traditional German, which I love. If you love to bike or hike this location has many options. We were conveniently located to Trier.
The owner was very friendly and willing to give advice. Extensive wine list! We arrived late and staff was willing to round up some food in the kitchen for us. Highly recommend and will be returning.
I recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner, a “body wash- shampoo- conditioner”...

”Perusjotelli. Puuttuu jääkaappi. Piti itse vaihtaa pyyhkeet ja viedä roskat. Aamiainen kapea. Mutta ystävällinen henkilökunta,hyvä sänky, siisti huone! Lähellä joen rantaa.”

”This was our favorite hotel on our mini-tour of Germany. Adorable and historic, the rooms were perfectly renovated so the floors don't creak and you can't hear thru the walls or floor/roof. Delightful balcony off our room had perfect view of cathedral. We got three spacious rooms all together in the same corridor, so we could leave the doors open and roam between rooms. The food was delicious and there was always a crowd. Located in the walking only part of town, it was steps from the Christmas...

”It is worth to spend the small extra amount to get the view of the Porta Nigra. Room was very spacious and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel doesn’t have the newest of interiors but it is still intact and functional
Only negative side was the cleaning crew, they came very early every day. On the day of our departure they knocked the door at 8:55!”
